Prayers for today
As we enter into this time of worship
we seek to put away the pressures of the world
that ask us to perform,
to take up masks,
to put on brave fronts.
We silence the voices that ask us to be perfect.
As part of a community of compassion and welcoming
we bring all that we are and all that we yet can be,
into our bubbles, that we would have as safe and holy places.
We declare that it is good to be alive!
We declare that it is good to share life with all
in this wonder-filled and evolving universe!
We are most grateful.
May wisdom dawn in us
so we may see all things with clarity.
Loving God, you are our refuge and our hope.
You instruct us in your truth and teach us the ways that lead to life.
Through your Son, Jesus, we inherit the abundance of your Grace.
Even when the way is difficult, even when we struggle,
You are with us.
Speak your word of peace to our hearts,
that we too may proclaim Jesus as Lord.
Amen
