This was recorded at Pitt St on 17 August, in anticipation of the Level 4 lockdown which was publicly announced about 5 minutes later.

Invitation to a Virtual Cuppa

Sunday 22 August 2021  11am - 12pm, NZ Standard Time.

As has been our lockdown tradition, you are invited to join members of the parish for a "Virtual Morning" tea via Zoom video conference. Join whenever suits you and stay for as long or as short as you like. We expect to finish about noon.
You can either click on the link below, or download the Zoom client to your computer or mobile phone (you have to use the app on your phone) and enter the meeting ID. You do not need to create a Zoom account.
Or Meeting ID: 187 731 533
Or join using just a phone - dial (09) 884 6780; Wait for answer / prompt for "enter meeting ID", enter 187 731 533 # ; if asked for participant ID just press #
There is no password to join the meeting, but you may be briefly placed in a 'waiting room" - please just wait a moment to be admitted.

If you need assistance there is a good tutorial on joining a meeting on the Zoom website:

Bring your own tea/coffee/juice/biscuits!

Note from Walter:  After previous lockdowns I had received feedback that the "virtual" hymns were both too played too fast and too slow, so this time Soldiers of the Cross is at a cracking pace, and Lift High is more sedate.   Also, do you like to read the words, or does the scrolling video work better for you?  (The second is more work for me!) Is there anything else you like about the services? Let us know:
